Disability Access Solutions is partnering with LSU in Baton Rouge to strengthen the emergency preparedness and response skills in their Integrative Community Studies Program. This multi-year initiative aims to create a robust training program for post-secondary students that can be adopted by other program(s) in the state of Louisiana and ultimately in the Southeastern part of the United States. Additionally, Disability Access Solutions has leveraged their connections in both the emergency preparedness sectors and the disability services field to form an advisory board comprised of subject matter experts to provide oversight and expert guidance for the lifespan of the initiative.
